I have been struggling with my weight for 15 years now. My unhealthy balance between my social life and work life has left me with no time to address my wellness. Due to my life being so busy for a few years now, I hadn’t invested much time in making healthy food and exercise choices. Then in the summer of 2017 as I was about to turn 34 and had officially crept into the obese category, I decided to make a goal of losing 75 pounds before my next birthday. With the help of Living well with Dechantell and her 21 day challenge, I was able to address my underlining issues with over eating and re channeling my focus on my mind, body, and spirit. I was able to lose 12 pounds within my first month. Instead of me paying a lot of money for a fad weight-loss program or diet pills I chose to make a healthy decision by addressing my wellness through the 21 day Challenge that consisted of daily task, readings, meal prep, journaling, and weekly check in with my wellness Coach De. Thanks Wellness Coach De for being a virtual instrument in my wellness journey.
